6/22/15 City Forest


Rained all day yesterday and we stayed home. A little left over rain this morning but when it started to clear we headed for the forest.

We took a little bit different route today- indicated on the map - wanting to avoid the one trail that was sure to be very wet but there was still plenty of water for Kelley.

Some of the things we saw


It was early and cool and some of the flowers had not yet opened for the day.























There were deer flies and mosquitoes but it was cool and we didn't get any more rain - tomorrow they say - so it really wasn't bad. We saw two runners but no one else. Kelley liked all the water.  1  3/4 hours
