More unsettled weather. Periods of drizzle alternating with sun and clouds. Rain this morning again. We just went to Essex Woods for a short walk. Neither of us was excited about getting out. There is also a dog park at the woods but Kelley was not interested in playing with the other dogs and I only took a couple of pictures

After our brief walk we went home and I worked on getting the garden ready and Kelley just loafed. Supposed to be clear this weekend and we will do better.

ReplyDeleteI think it's good to take a "slow" day once in awhile--keeps things fresh, gives the body a chance to rest, and hey--the garden NEEDS attention this time of year.

Hi Sue - you are right about the rest and also the garden- behind because of our long winter this year. Beds are ready for peas , kale bed started, poles and trellis netting repaired, starting to harden off some seedlings.
