1/5/15 Along the Kenduskeag

Mix of sun and clouds, 20's, and quite windy. This is actually part of  a snowmobile trail ( not enough snow yet for them) than runs through a pretty section of woods along the Kemduskeag Stream the woods gave  some shelter from the wind.

It looked like only one person had preceded us ( out and back like us) . This is looking back at the start and includes our tracks.

One of the  spots you get a clear view of the stream

Another shot of the trail

and a bit of pine

looking across the stream - in some places it was ice all the way across.

Some stones on the trail - maybe the only piece unfrozen. No water for Kelley today

Waiting for me to catch up

This went better than expected - didn't feel as cold as I thought it would and the fluffy snow was not difficult to walk through. Kelley liked the snow and it was a pretty day.  1  1/2 hours
