9/22/14 Kenduskeag Stream Trail

We woke up to rain with a forecast of more to come but then it started to clear and we headed to the nearby Kenduskeag. This trail starts about two miles from home and follows the stream 2  1/2 miles to downtown Bangor.

The stream was even lower than the last time we were here.





But there were enough pools of deeper water for Kelley







Other than a lot of sniffing along the trail



Kelley was not enthusiastic and I thought maybe she needed a short day and some rest so we did not go very far. I took a few pictures while I waited for her to check out the smells along the way.












It had turned into a nice day but we headed back after about an hour. A rest day for both of us - Kelley  mostly slept, I made us a fresh tomato pizza, and  read

    1. Thanks Linda- it is a pretty stream and nice to have so close to home. Every spring ( in Aoril- BRRR) there is a big canoe race on the stream
