6/6/14 Essex Woods Redux

Another rainy morning. I re-potted some seedlings and watered some others and adjusted lights, etc while waiting for a break. When the rain became light we headed to nearby Brewer for some trails we had not done. Still raining when we got there and a sign saying dogs had to be leashed. We left and went back to Essex Woods. Right by the parking area is a fenced dog park with one man and his dog. Kelley wanted to meet them so we went in for awhile. We then wandered the trails - some looked familiar and others did not - plan was to end up at the marsh but we came out by the dog park. There were two more people with dogs and Kelley wanted in again. After a bit we left and I planned on going down the hill to the marsh. Kelley surprised me by heading for the car. I think this weather is getting her down too.

So, not much of a hike, though Kelley seemed satisfied and did get a little doggie interaction. Supposed to be better weather on the way so we will do better tomorrow.
