7/18/12 City Forest

Garden work to catch up on so it's nearby City Forest. Clouds and sun and lots of deer flies. Also lots of water for Kelley and we met a few dogs and some people to make her happy and no bears.  Some of the things we saw:

For some reason this weed reminded me of a Christmas tree


This was pretty fancy Leaf Miner work





In spite of the deer flies ( I have got some patches that work for me but don't help Kelley) we had a nice 2 hour outing.

    Patches for deer flies? I'm interested. They are very bad on my road. Most people walk with those battery operated zapper raquets.

    They work pretty well- nothing else i have tried had any effect at all- here is where I got them
