I am retired and have been doing a lot of hiking with my dog Kelley. Kelley has done all the peaks in Acadia National Park as well as those in Camden and the Donnell Pond and Monteville area. We have also done Big and Little Moose, Petit Manan and the Cutler Coast. We hope that other hikers will share hikes they have enjoyed.

5/12/12 Sears Island
Sears Island sounded like a good choice after all the rain we have had and the resulting wet trails. We walked the shore to the Blue Trail and then went inland to the Tower Rd. and took an unmarked trail over to the road. That trail had some very wet areas. The Green Trail back to the shore was not nearly as wet. A nice varied hike of 2 3/4 hours.
