8/4/11 Saxl Park

Another of several rainy days. Today alternated between sun and rain. Decided to take advantage of a break and visit a nearby park. By the time we got to the car it was raining but had stopped by the time we reached the park. Looking across the meadow feels like you are somewhere other than in the middle of the city.

Fifteen minutes into our hour walk it started raining again but I had brought a plastic bag for the camera and we continued--after a few minutes it again stopped raining.

    The soft light from that cloudy sky made for some very nice closeups. Surprising that you were able to capture a shadow portrait.
