8/2/11 U. Maine Trails

Another rainy day after a bad night. Lots of thunder and lightening last night which really frightened Kelley. She was so upset she couldn't be tempted with Pringles , one of her favorite treats. While it wasn't raining we headed for the trails at the university. Again we had a map and were on track for awhile but trails not on the map proliferated and markers did not. They also have a few maps attached to trees but the trail numbers on those map were different than the numbers on my map ( from the university). We talked to a man and his sons who were biking and he said he had been riding there for some time and still got lost. We still had a good walk ( 2 hours), didn't get rained on, and Kelley found water to get into.
