8/18/11 Petit Manan






It was supposed to be a nice sunny day so we headed for Petit Manan and the ocean. We arrived to find fog-not really heavy and it burned off some but fog most of the way. We did the Hollingsworth Trail and then added on a good chunk of coast line.

This was what greeted us when we reached the shore.




I have always liked beach combing so this is sort of a beach comb with camera.































I found lots of interest but spared you the whole collection. In spite of the fog it was a very pleasant hike with no people, water for Kelley, and lots to look at. 2 3/4 hours

    That looks like a wonderful place to go hiking sometime this fall..putting it on my list for sure!
