There was a fair amount of wind and in the open areas it felt much cooler.
Still no spring flowers so it's lichen again

Keley was more enthusiastic today, taking the lead at time, so it was a good hike in spite of no signs of spring. I did shorten the route a bit, taking a trail across to the carriage road - it had some new bridges but the trail has had no other maintenance . We only met two women with their dogs on the carriage road section- unusual, especially on such a pretty day. Kelley likes to meet lots of people.1 3/4 hours
What a pretty day. Loved the lichen and tree bark shots....and of course Kelley having a dip too!
