12/1/15 Perch Pond


Another cold morning but sunny and a little warmer than yesterday.

Things were still frosty





We found the small pond frozen and Kelley was disappointed.


We found the big pond also frozen . It doesn't look solid but I chucked a couple of fist sized rocks onto the ice to break it for Kelley and they just bounced off

On the last section of trail there was a tiny stream still running. Any port in a storm.


In keeping with today's theme - more ice.


A pretty morning and Kelley was energetic and did well, though deprived of most of the water opportunities. 1  3/4 hours

    Love your first photo of the frost needles! Poor Kelley - looks like she had to make do with a small partially frozen stream!

    That bottom ice photo is very beautiful. Sorry Kelley didn't get much in the way of water, but I'll bet it was a nice crisp walk. Enjoy the day
