Upper 40's to 50 and sunny with some clouds - if not for all the snow you might think it was spring. We decided to check out a branch we had not been on on the past. We started from our usual spot on Hudson Rd. and a familiar trail.
The woods were pretty - very little snow has melted but the surface was softer but still not bad.
A short ways after crossing Pushaw Rd. we took the trail to the left which we had not been on before - it has a sign saying " Dead End"
We ended up in a lot behind a business and turned back the way we had come.
On the way we stopped for an apple snack

A beautiful day. Again we had the trails to ourselves. 2 1/4 hours

ReplyDeleteWe're starting to warm up here as well . Daffodils popping up everywhere in our property. I'm ready for Spring ! I'm ready to get my veggie/herb garden going!!
Hi Serafina- it was brief- last night down to 10 degrees and in the 20's today- 5 to 9 inches of snow forecast for the weekend. Still a foot or two of snow in my yard - going to be awhile for the garden
