Another in a string of great hiking days- 60's, mostly sunny, and no wind. . We have not been here in some time because in summer there are 4H camps and they ask that others not enter the camp area which we skirt on our loop. The woods were pretty with both color and lots of leaves and pine needles on the ground. The river was low but OK with Kelley because she does not like swift water. Our route is on the map above and here are some pictures of the trails and river. The hike took 3 1/4 hours
I am retired and have been doing a lot of hiking with my dog Kelley. Kelley has done all the peaks in Acadia National Park as well as those in Camden and the Donnell Pond and Monteville area. We have also done Big and Little Moose, Petit Manan and the Cutler Coast. We hope that other hikers will share hikes they have enjoyed.

Gorgeous colors. I love the fourth photo down where the branch overhangs the water.
