6/6/13 City Forest

High overcast with thunder storms forecast. I'm also moving seedlings in and out to harden them and need to watch over them. So, a short drive to City Forest. We started from the end of Kittredge Rd. and walked across the meadow

and down to the beaver pond

 where Kelley enjoyed her first swim of the day

while I took a few pictures of  other things in the pond.

We then continued on to the West Trail which took us to the old rail bed and back to a side trail to the West Trail back to the start of our loop.

Pleasing light, especially for close ups.

A nice outing- water for Kelley as well as several people and dogs. 2 hours
