I am retired and have been doing a lot of hiking with my dog Kelley. Kelley has done all the peaks in Acadia National Park as well as those in Camden and the Donnell Pond and Monteville area. We have also done Big and Little Moose, Petit Manan and the Cutler Coast. We hope that other hikers will share hikes they have enjoyed.

4/16/13 Walden
More rain predicted- short trip to Walden- Still looking for signs of spring . Only this snake
Kelley din't mind as there was lots of water to get into. We met no one. I think everyone is waiting for more spring-like weather
All right John enough with the snakes..yikes!!

Hi Grace-Nope, I was really looking for any signs of spring- the snake was it. We are still finding patches of ice and snow on the trails.
Deletewow, that looks like a big snake! I'm not afraid of snakes but sometimes they startle me when they appear unexpectantly.
