6/10/12 Little long Pond Area






Another beautiful day and the garden is calling but Kelley is due a nice hike so we headed for Little Long Pond - one of her favorites. We took the trail along the pond

         
To Jordan Stream and followed that 

                 
to the cobblestone bridge and then the carriage roads to the loop around Redfield Hill  looking for some trails that we were told about that are not on the map. We did not spot any of them.

Kelley couldn't find them either

                                                                                                                                                                
 We then followed the pond back along the east side and Kelley met several dogs to play with and some nice people.




A very pleasant 2  1/2 hour hike
