10/7/11 Bangor Land Trust Properties ( mostly)

Couldn't find an appropriate map for this one. Cool but sunny and we decided on an easier hike after yesterdays more strenuous version. We started at the end of Fox Hollow at the West Penjajawoc Grasslands where we found this old farm machinery.

We then took the snowmobile trail that we like in winter but haven't been on this summer. A lot of it was wet and in need of a little maintenance. Kelley is not avoiding the water but getting around the tree.

That trail took us to the utility easement that is a continuation of the snowmobile trail but it was overgrown and we just wandered through it to an unnamed trail that took us to a small section of the loop trail and then to the rail bed. We walked that a ways and then turned back and took a slightly different trail back to the easement and then back the way we had come.

A varied and pleasant hike that Kelley was not anxious to end as we neared our start. 2 hours
