9/18/11 Marsh Island Natural Area



Beautiful day for a walk in the woods-sunny with temps around 60. An easy day as Kelley seems to be less agile again. We started from Hillside and just wandered the trails ( which meant some looping back and some dead ends) for an hour and a half with Kelley getting a swim at the beginning and the end. This thistle seemed quite fresh for this late in the season as most have gone to seed.
