I am retired and have been doing a lot of hiking with my dog Kelley. Kelley has done all the peaks in Acadia National Park as well as those in Camden and the Donnell Pond and Monteville area. We have also done Big and Little Moose, Petit Manan and the Cutler Coast. We hope that other hikers will share hikes they have enjoyed.

6/12/11 Downtown Bangor
A gray rainy day so we stayed home and when there was a break in the rain went downtown. The light did not seem good at the time but seems to have resulted in some very nice color.
Two versions of the same shot
I was happy with the pictures I got and Kelley was glad to be out. She got to pick some of the turns as we rambled and we were on unfamiliar streets so there were new smells too.
The flowers are great...lovely rich colors. Pic #5 looks like polished marble (which resembles tree roots), and pic #8 is just strange...reminds me of some Lee Friedlander work...(I like it). "...new smells" indeed.

ReplyDeleteHi John - Thanks for looking and for commenting.#5 is not polished but just a bolder marking edge of roadway.
