6/10 11 Beech Mountain

A beautiful day- sunny, down in the 70's, and a nice breeze to keep the bugs down. We started from the pumping station parking lot and climbed the West Ridge Trail to the summit

From the summit we hiked down to the Beech parking area and picked up the Valley Trail, which we took back to Long Pond where we had our lunch. A very pleasant jaunt-2 hours

    Nice variety of views, and the air is so clear. It is hazy here in S.E. Michigan today.
